I started putting better after installing this grip. I’m very finicky about putter grips and went through innumerable grips over the years trying to find a grip to replace the pistol grip that was deemed illegal many years ago. The ability to change the counterbalance weight was key to improving the feel of my putter, which led to better putting stats.There is a downside … Grips like this and from W*** are very fragile. I could play with an old rubber grip but when the SuperStroke becomes slippery and the “skin” starts to degrade, it’s time to change the grip. I am loathe to change grips because it might change the putter’s efficacy. But, the now slick grip is causing me to grip the putter tighter than I want, leading to inconsistency in distance control.This is an annual event … change your grips and keep them clean.
